Delete my account

In the app, go to Settings → Profile Details and choose Delete Account. You can also reach it from Settings → Privacy Choices → Delete your account. Confirm when prompted. This is the fastest way to remove your account and the personal data tied to it, and it takes effect immediately.

If you cannot use the app — for example after uninstalling it — request account deletion by emailing privacy@milogbook.co.za from the email address registered on your account. Use the subject line “Account deletion request”. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before we process the request.

We delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data associated with your account, including your profile, authentication identifiers in our identity service, and user content such as vehicles, trips, receipts, and synced documents, except where we must retain limited information by law.

Deleted information may persist for a limited period in encrypted backups and service logs. We purge or anonymise such copies on a rolling schedule (ordinarily within 90 days, and in many cases sooner). We may retain certain records where the law requires — for example limited billing or security audit evidence — or where data has been irreversibly anonymised.

Deleting your MiLogBook account does not automatically cancel subscriptions billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel renewals in your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings. Charges already billed follow the store's refund rules and our Terms of service.

If you use Sign in with Apple, you can revoke MiLogBook access from your Apple ID settings. Revocation alone may not delete all data we hold; complete account removal using the in-app flow or email above. Similar controls exist for other identity providers where applicable.
